MUSTANG MAGIC – FT. WORTH STOCK SHOW & RODEO
Trainers will compete in a series of preliminary classes including handling and conditioning, a pattern class, a combined leading and riding trail course and compulsory maneuvers. The top 10 trainers will be selected for a freestyle performance and continue to compete for their share of $10,000 Saturday, January 20, 2018, in the John Justin Arena. Horses will be available to the public for adoption through competitive bid at the end of the event. Tickets are required for the freestyle finals performance and can be purchased on the Fort Worth Stock Show website.

Sam is a veteran horse trainer, competitor and judge. Sam resides in Pilot Point, Texas with wife Pam and daughter Kristen. Sam has judged the NCHA World Show, Super Stakes, Derby and Futurity. Sam has also judged the NRCHA Futurity, World Show, Derby and Stakes, along with all of the AQHA World Shows. Not only is Sam an accomplished judge, he has shown and trained multiple AQHA World Champions and Honor Roll Horses. Sam is a National AQHA Board of Director and Chairman of the AQHA Judges Committee.
Delena Doyle lives on her family ranch in Azle, Texas. Doyle is a retired educator with a Master’s Degree in Education. She and her husband Craig raise cattle and enjoy team roping with their two children. Delena began showing horses at age 13. She has 27 years of judging experience with cards in the AQHA, APHA, PHBA, PtHA, ApHC, NRCHA, NSBA, IBHA and ABRA. Delena has judged the European Championships, Australian Championships, and World Championship shows for the APHA, PHBA, ApHC, PtHA and NSBA. She is an AQHA steward and serves as Equipment judge for the Paint and Appaloosa World Shows.
