MUSTANG MAGIC – FT. WORTH STOCK SHOW & RODEO
Mustangs and trainers will be featured during the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, January 19-21, 2017 at the Will Rogers Equestrian Center. The annual wild horse training event will feature 33 trainers invited by the Mustang Heritage Foundation to gentle a mustang mare and showcase the horse’s talent at one of the premier livestock expositions in the country.
Trainers will compete in a series of preliminary classes including handling and conditioning, a pattern class, a combined leading and riding trail course and compulsory maneuvers. The top 10 trainers will be selected for a freestyle performance and continue to compete for their share of $10,000 Saturday, January 21, 2017, in the John Justin Arena. Horses will be available to the public for adoption through competitive bid at the end of the event.
