Stock Horse of Texas Association
The Mustang Heritage Foundation is excited to partner with the Stock Horse of Texas Association to offer special incentives for SHTX competitors showing Bureau of Land Management (BLM)-branded mustangs.
MHF and SHTX will offer new high-placing mustang awards based on cumulative placings earned by qualifying horse and rider teams at SHTX shows throughout the year.
- First place award: Saddle, champion belt buckle, jacket, and saddle pad
- Second place award: Reserve champion belt buckle, jacket, and saddle pad
- Third place award: Jacket and saddle pad
An additional benefit available to mustang exhibitors will be a yearlong involvement incentive. All mustang exhibitors who compete in at least one class at a minimum of three SHTX shows will be entered in a random drawing to win $1,500 in cash at the end of the show season.
- Exhibitor must be a current member of SHTX and MHF
- Must be riding a BLM-branded mustang
- Eligible horses must be enrolled using the enrollment form

Extreme Cowboy Association
The Mustang Heritage Foundation has partnered with the Extreme Cowboy Association to offer $10,000 in added money to BLM-branded mustangs competing in the Extreme Mustang Race during the EXCA World Finals.
Exhibitors who are MHF members and compete in the Extreme Mustang Race with BLM mustangs adopted or purchased from January 1—August 1, 2021, will be eligible to win $10,000 in prize money provided by MHF and EXCA. MHF will also award a buckle to the high point BLM-branded mustang competing in the EXCA World Finals. All BLM-branded mustangs are eligible for the buckle incentive.
- Exhibitor must be a current member MHF
- Must be riding a BLM-branded mustang
- To be eligible for the $10,000 added money, paperwork must be submitted to verify adoption or purchase between January 1, 2021, and August 1, 2021
