Since 2002, The Mustang Heritage Foundation has operated with a small group of folks dedicated to one seemingly insurmountable cause…placing wild mustangs in homes and programs that benefit both the animal and the humans that are impacted by them. For the first time, the pioneers of this movement will be honored for their work and dedication to helping wild horses.
We will induct 13 people to the Mustang Heritage Hall of Fame, people who collectively have been responsible for some 60,000 wild horses and burros finding a new life. The evening at Lowe’s Vanderbilt in Nashville begins with a cocktail hour/reception, then an elegant meal with entertainment and the induction ceremony which we know will be moving and inspiring for everyone.
This is also the first fundraiser of its kind for the organization. Your ticket or table purchase will go toward the continuance of this organization, it’s expansion and most of all…bringing the mustangs home!
Created and presented by the Mustang Heritage Foundation, the Mustang Heritage Spectacular competition is showcases the beauty, versatility, and trainability of American mustangs. The Mustang Heritage Spectacular will consist of a Celebrity Freestyle Challenge, an Extreme Mustang Makeover, and a Mustang Open Show.
For the Extreme Mustang Makeover, trainers will showcase the trust they are able to build with an untouched wild horse in just 120 days of training. The trainers and horses will compete in three preliminary classes — handling & conditioning, trail, and maneuvers. Their total points from these three preliminary classes will determine who will move forward into the Top 10 Freestyle Finals for their chance to be crowned Mustang Heritage Spectacular – Extreme Mustang Makeover Champion. With cash and prizes up for grabs, it’s going to be SPECTACULAR!
