What does the trainer’s council do?
Provide insight & feedback!
- Advisory Role: Provide expert advice and recommendations on MHF programs, event planning, and educational content.
- Oversight Role: Assist in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of MHF initiatives.
- Mentorship Role: Serve as mentors to emerging trainers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

How do trainers qualify?
The simple answer: Results!
- Inviting the Top EMM Trainers from the current year ensures that the Council benefits from the latest techniques, innovations, and insights from recent top performers.
- Inviting the Top EMM Trainers from the previous year allows for continuity and the sharing of proven methods and experiences from trainers who have had a year to reflect and possibly further refine their approaches.
- Inviting Celebrity Trainers ensures that the Council benefits from a high-profile perspective that can bridge the gap between the professional community and the public.
- Having a Youth Trainer ensures that the Council considers the needs of the Youth participants and mentors our Youth leaders to be engaged in their future.
When do council seats rotate?
Council seats will rotate annually (on an event-based calendar year) to ensure that the Council remains dynamic and reflects the current state of the training community.
The term for each member will be one year, after which the seats will be reassigned based on the criteria outlined above. This rotation will take place on the 1st of the month following the annual Mustang Heritage Spectacular event (i.e. when the event takes place in June, the Council seats will rotate July 1st).
Members may serve multiple terms if they continue to meet the eligibility criteria in subsequent years.
