All horses will be available for adoption or purchase through online auction at the end of the event.

Dennis is an accomplished trainer, farrier, and author with extensive experience in Mustang Makeovers. He was a 2017 EMM Top 10 Finisher in Fort Worth Texas, 2016 EMM Reserve Champion in Sedalia Missouri, and 2015 EMM Champion in St Louis. He also holds numerous titles in colt starting and ranch horse competitions. Dennis’s specialty is helping students to achieve their desired results by creating a pure connection between rider and horse through the use of a clear mental picture. Dennis offers a variety of training programs that allow riders to learn to use their thinking to benefit their riding and achieve their goals.
Nate is a four-time Extreme Mustang Makeover Champion and Reserve Championship. He has shown in reining, cutting, roping, and obstacle challenges. He specializes in putting a solid foundation on horses at his ranch in Texas. Nate has judged numerous events, including ranch horse shows, the Las Vegas and Texas TIP challenges, and Open Shows. He wishes all the best to each and everyone participating.
Matt is a lifelong reining competitor with judging certifications in NRHA, NRCHA, AQHA specialty, and ASHA. He teaches riders and horses about reining, ranch riding, and ranch versatility, as well as groundwork and starting mustangs. Matt has competed in four Mustang events, reaching the finals in all four and winning the 2017 Reno Extreme Mustang Makeover, as well as the 2019 Mustang Madness freestyle in CleElum, Washington. Matt teaches and trains from his ranch, Sweet Pepper Ranch, in Nampa, Idaho.
Simon d’Unienville is Executive Director of the Monty Roberts Learning Center in California where he heads up the Monty Roberts’ Mustang & Transition Horse Program (MRTHP), in addition to their regular courses and equine-assisted nonprofit programs for Veterans and at-risk youth. As head of the MRTHP, Simon works year-round with Mustangs, OTTBs, and other horses from The Right Horse adoption partners using Monty’s ground-based and ridden training programs – making them safer and more adoptable. A South African native, Simon spent his youth playing polocrosse and trail riding in the Drakensberg mountains. After taking a break from horses in his twenties to pursue his career, Simon began his education with Monty Roberts in 2016, becoming one of his fastest qualifying instructors in 2018. Simon judged several junior and adult in-hand classes at the 2020 Horse of the Year show in South Africa. He has spent the past few years working to introduce Monty’s force-free concepts to the South African equestrian industry, including working with some of South Africa’s top racehorse trainers.
Terry’s judging experience is comprised of nearly 40 years of judging all levels of open competition. Open and 4H shows, state and county fairs, reining, working cow horse, hunters, ranch horse, and extreme trail competitions. In 2019 Terry judged the Retired Racehorse Challenge in Lexington Kentucky. He has been judging Mustang Makeovers since 2012 and was a finalist judge for the Mustang Million. Since 1986, Terry along with his wife Peg, have owned and operated Evergreen Farm, an AQHA/APHA breeding, training and showing facility. His farm has become one of the largest performance horse programs on the east coast. Horses carrying the EF brand can be seen competing from the dressage rings to the rodeo arenas. Terry’s training program is responsible for 13 National and World Champions and 11 Reserve Champions.
